Palmitas Polanco, Mexico City, P.C. 11560, Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, is firmly committed to protecting personal data provided by its users (hereinafter “Personal Data”) and is responsible for its treatment (terminology defined below) when it is collected through the Internet website www.multilatin.com (hereinafter “the Website”), print media and/or telephone (other Media).
PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION AND USE.
Personal Data that users provide when accessing and/or registering on “the Website” is intended to: Generate databases that “the Website” will use for commercial purposes, advertising, and promotion, and may include but is not limited to the following:

“The Website” may contain hyperlinks or hypertext “links”, banners, buttons and/or search tools on the “World Wide Web” that, when followed, transfer the user to other portals or Internet websites belonging to third parties.The Personal Data that users provide through such portals or Internet websites is not covered by this Privacy Notice and its Treatment is not the responsibility of MultiLatin. We recommend that users verify the Privacy Notice displayed and applicable to these portals and Internet websites. Users may find pages, promotions, microsites, virtual stores, surveys, job boards and other services within “the Website” that may be shared with third parties and that may request their Personal Data (“Third Party Websites”).
Any information related to personal data that is provided through Third Party Websites will be subject to the applicable privacy notices contained therein unless MultiLatin indicates otherwise. COOKIES AND WEB BEACONS.
In order to enhance the user’s experience on “the Website”, MultiLatin may use “cookies”. For the purpose of this Privacy Notice, “cookies” will be identified as text files with information that a website transfers to the hard drive of the user’s computer in order to store certain records and preferences. The third parties that receive information related to users’ Personal Data are obliged to comply with the provisions of this Privacy Notice as well as with the terms and Conditions of “the Website” and applicable legislation in Mexico. The owner of the Personal Data provided through “the Website” accepts its transfer under the terms described in this Notice.
MEANS FOR EXERCISING THE RIGHTS OF OWNERS OF PERSONAL DATA AND REVOCATION OF CONSENT.
As of January 6, 2012, users can request to exercise their right to:
Access their Personal Data;
Rectify Personal Data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
Cancel their Personal Data;
Oppose the Treatment of their Personal Data on justifiable grounds, and/or
Rescind their consent to handle their Personal Data at any time, in order to prevent its use.
The exercise of rights to Access, Rectification, Cancellation or Opposition of Personal Data and Revocation of Consent can be requested in writing to MultiLatin and must contain at least the following:
- Owner’s name, address and email for delivering a response to the request;
- Documents that prove the owner’s identify or, where appropriate, the owner’s legal representation;
- A clear and precise description of the Personal Data for which the aforementioned rights are exercised (in the case of rectification, indicating the modifications to be made and providing documentation to support the request);
- Any other element or document that helps to locate the personal data.
For the above purpose, MultiLatin provides the following email: firstname.lastname@example.org, MultiLatin will respond to user requests within a period not exceeding 30 business days from the date the request is received at the email address provided for that purpose. The exercise of the aforementioned rights by users will be subject to the existing laws and regulations in Mexico.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE.
MultiLatin reserves the right to modify the contents of this Privacy Notice at any time. Any change to the Privacy Notice will be notified to users through “the Website”. Once the Privacy Notice is published on “the Website”, it will automatically take effect. The date of the last update of this notice is July 10, 2018.
